Synaptris Turns to New Verticals for Growth: US-headquartered software product development company, Synaptris, with 90% of its operations in Chennai, has taken to a product base expansion route to expand its customer base and grow this year. The company, which was spun off as an independent business unit from its US-based parent Cybernet Slash Support in 2004, will launch three new products in its reporting and analytics domain this year, and two more in the coming year. “We are not a business intelligence company, in the sense that our products are simpler to use and more broadly based, as opposed to a specialized BI product,” said Synaptris COO Nagaraj L Bhargava. “Our upgrades and new products are designed to become even broader such that it will be useful to a larger range of verticals.” Read More…
