IDC: Info, Data Management Software in Asia Grows 8 Percent: The Information and Data Management Software (IDMS) market in Asia Pacific continued to grow 8.02 percent year-on-year in 2008 to an estimated US$2,107.99 million, said IDC Wednesday. The IDMS market includes RDBMS, and non-relational databases management systems as well as data integration and database tools, according to the research firm. The market grew on the back of maintenance revenue stream, and on-going implementations and other projects that were approved pre-crisis.
