Business Intelligence Professional - Project Management / Development

Looking for next contract - Flexible on relocation/travel. Proven record of rapidly learning new technologies as required by solution.

I am a highly experienced consultant with over 12 years proven experience in the development; project management; and implementation of business intelligence solutions (including balanced scorecard; performance measurement; dashboard applications; and ETL processes) throughout Europe and the United States, across a broad base of industries including banking; medical; retail; government; house building; insurance; telecommunications; and manufacturing.

Successfully delivered business intelligence solutions for many customers within budget and on time. Experience in addressing customer concerns relating to application adoption, through the education of benefits; role identification; investment of time required; and the facilitation of user and administration training.

I have recently completed a project with the Royal Bank of Scotland, managing a team of consultants in the successful on time delivery of a suite of data enrichment; ETL; and quality validation applications. The project was originally to be developed by the internal RBS IT department, but due to manpower issues, the project was assigned to my consultancy team halfway through the planned development schedule.

I have excellent staff management & communication skills, along with a great deal of experience in hands-on development; consultancy management; pre-sales; training; and company critical issue representation.
